How to Set Up
Step 1: Download the app
Available on the App Store (iPhone) and Google Play (Android). Free.
Step 2: Select your festival
Choose from 50 festivals across 15 countries.
Step 3: Download the offline map
Do this on WiFi at home or your hotel. It takes 1–2 minutes.
Step 4: Set up your squad

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it really work without signal?
Yes. The maps, timetable, emergency phrases, and squad radar all work with zero mobile data. The only thing that requires signal is the initial map download and (optionally) syncing to the cloud when you regain signal.
How does the squad radar work without internet?
Bluetooth Low Energy allows phones to communicate directly without any server or internet connection. Travel Ravers uses Bridgefy’s mesh SDK to relay messages between devices — if your squad member is 200 metres away but there are Travel Ravers users in between, the signal hops between them.
Is my location data private?
Yes. Your GPS position is only shared with your squad (people on the same squad code). SOS broadcasts share your location with nearby Travel Ravers users only when you explicitly hold the SOS button for 3 seconds. Nothing is uploaded to any server while you’re offline.
How much battery does it use?
Travel Ravers uses GPS and Bluetooth, both of which consume battery. We recommend starting with a full charge and carrying a power bank. The app reduces GPS update frequency when you’re stationary to conserve battery.
Which festivals are supported?
50 festivals across the UK, Europe, South East Asia, and the Americas. The full list is on the Events page.
